Most founders come to us at the wrong stage for the wrong reasons. Here is how we actually work and where you likely fit.

THE ACG BASELINE
ACG is a capital raise consulting firm, not a broker or a law firm. We build the structure, documentation, compliance framework, and investor materials a founder needs to run a legal, credible, and executable raise. Every deliverable we produce is designed to hold up under scrutiny by a sophisticated investor and their attorney.
THE ACG ADVANTAGE
Every engagement is a flat fee, scoped to what your raise actually needs. ACG never takes a percentage of your raise or a fee tied to whether anyone invests. That is not a marketing line. It is the architecture of the engagement model. We built it so our only stake is the quality of your file.
What We Do
The foundation you develop with us is built to close.
Founders generally fall into three buckets. Which one describes you?

Not Ready Yet
The Vision Builder
You have a real business, but the fundamentals investors examine first, entity structure, cap table, and financials, are not yet in place. Before documents are drafted, the foundation has to be built.

Getting There
The Active Founder
Your business fundamentals are solid. Now the raise has to be built correctly, with compliant documents, a defined deal structure, and investor-ready materials that hold up under investor scrutiny.

Ready to Raise
The Proven Operator
Your fundamentals are in place. The focus shifts from fixing gaps to strategy, structure, and execution. How the pieces are assembled into a compliant, compelling offering determines success or failure.

Raise Recovery
Most founders who come to us mid-raise have already spent money, approached investors, and hit a wall they cannot diagnose. The Rescue Engagement exists specifically for that moment. A structured assessment of exactly what went wrong, ranked by severity, with a corrective action mapped to every identified problem. No rework of decisions made before we were involved. Just a clear picture of what needs to change and how to change it.
Open Entry · No Prior ACG Engagement Required
Already mid-raise and stalled? We conduct a structured diagnostic across five areas:
Structure, documentation, investor profile, narrative, and regulatory exposure. Then we deliver a written Raise Recovery Report within 5 business days. Every identified problem is ranked by severity and mapped to a specific corrective action.

What Gets Built
At the end of the engagement, these documents exist. Before ACG, most of them did not.
Every document an investor or their attorney will ask for, structured, compliant, and ready to execute before your first investor conversation.
The numbers behind your raise are organized, documented, and built to withstand the scrutiny of a sophisticated investor reviewing your offering.
Everything a serious investor needs to evaluate your opportunity, from the first document they request to the last one they sign.
The online footprint investors check before they agree to a meeting is built to the standard that makes them take the call.
Why This Matters
These are not hypothetical scenarios. They are the exact moments where raises stall, or stop entirely.
Scenario 01
The Messy Cap Table
An investor’s attorney finds undocumented equity grants or founder loans. If the question is not answered in the room, the deal dies.
Investors do not fund ambiguity. A cap table that cannot be explained signals a company that can’t manage investor capital.
Scenario 02
The Missing Financials
Projections with no assumption log indicate a founder who may not fully understand their own numbers. The meeting ends with no check.
Investors fund evidence, not enthusiasm. Financial documentation that cannot be interrogated is not documentation, it is a liability.
Scenario 03
The Weak Digital Presence
Before the meeting, the investor searches your name. What they find, or do not find, decides whether they show up prepared to engage or prepared to pass.
A thin LinkedIn, an outdated website, or inconsistent messaging does not just create doubt; it raises the question of whether the business is real.
Scenario 04
The Undefined Raise Structure
A founder who cannot explain their exemption, their conversion terms, or their use of proceeds in plain language tells investors everything they need to know.
Regulatory confusion is not a minor gap. It signals a raise that could expose the investor to compliance risk, and that is a conversation-ending signal.
Common Questions
Answers to what founders ask most before engaging ACG.
Take the Raise Readiness Quiz. It’s free, takes three to five minutes, and routes you to a result page that identifies exactly where your gaps are and which ACG engagement is the right fit. If your score points to Scoping, the next step is to book a consultation for the Note-Ready Scoping Stage. Scoping produces a formal written report that maps every identified gap to the Foundation Build module or engagement phase that resolves it.
No. Every engagement is a flat fee set during consultation and scoped to what your raise needs. ACG never takes a percentage of your raise or a fee tied to whether anyone invests.
Foundation Build is a modular remediation stage. You only pay for the modules that apply to your specific gaps as identified in Scoping, not a fixed bundle. Modules fall into two categories: Note-Critical (required before note investor outreach can begin) and PPM-Stage (required before the PPM raise begins). Pricing is set from what Scoping finds.
No. Scoping is the mandatory entry point for all new ACG clients. It is not a formality; it is the diagnostic that tells us what you actually have versus what you think you have. Without it, we cannot build a Foundation Build remediation sequence, and we cannot confirm which modules apply before the Note-Ready Package begins. Scoping is the essential first step in a process designed to produce real results.
Everything ACG produces is built specifically for your company. We do not use templates. The Note-Ready Package requires that ACG review your actual business, financials, deal context, and digital presence before a single document is drafted. The PPM Package requires an audit and usually a full rebuild of every collateral component. No founder-supplied materials are accepted as-is, no exceptions. ACG uses freelance professionals for certain collateral in the Raise Execution Layer, but every deliverable is reviewed and approved by ACG before it reaches you.
The Rescue Engagement is a raise recovery assessment for founders who are mid-raise and stalled, regardless of whether they have worked with ACG before. We review all existing raise materials, conduct a 60-minute diagnostic session, and assess the raise across five areas: structure, documentation, investor profile, narrative, and regulatory exposure. Every identified problem is ranked by severity and urgency and mapped to a specific corrective action. If regulatory exposure is identified, we provide immediate referrals to qualified securities counsel.
Your Next Step
Three to five minutes. No right or wrong answers. At the end, you will know exactly where your company stands and which ACG engagement is the right fit for where you are right now.
